2-Car Collision on American Avenue Injures 2 Drivers [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (July 11, 2026) — A FedEx box truck overturned after a collision on American Avenue, involving a Mazda on Wednesday afternoon, leaving both drivers with minor injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection with Golden State Boulevard. Investigators said the FedEx truck was traveling west on American Avenue while the Mazda was heading south on Golden State Boulevard.

Authorities believe the Mazda attempted to make a right turn at a high rate of speed before colliding with the FedEx truck. The impact caused the box truck to roll onto its left side, blocking the roadway.
