Tragic 2-Car Collision on Apple Valley Road Under Investigation [Apple Valley, CA]

Apple Valley, CA (February 10, 2026) — A late-night collision on Apple Valley Road left one person dead and another seriously injured Saturday evening.

Deputies responded around 10:08 p.m. to a two-vehicle collision at Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road, near a gas station. At the scene, authorities found a silver GMC Sierra pickup and a blue Chrysler 300 with major damage.

Investigators said the pickup truck driver died at the scene. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the Chrysler suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where the individual remains hospitalized.

Preliminary findings indicated that the GMC was traveling north on Apple Valley Road while the Chrysler was heading east on Yucca Loma Road when the vehicles collided. Deputies closed the intersection for several hours as they investigated the crash. The cause remains under review.
