Two Drivers Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash at Busy Moreno Valley Intersection

Moreno Valley, CA (April 11, 2026) — On Thursday morning, two motorists sustained injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Campus Parkway in Moreno Valley.

Authorities reported that the crash happened at the intersection with Day Street, just south of the 60 Freeway at approximately 11:05 a.m. and brought multiple fire crews to the scene. Responders found all three vehicles heavily damaged and partially blocking the intersection between two busy shopping centers.

Paramedics transported two injured drivers to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. A third driver declined medical evaluation at the scene. Officials confirmed that no one required extrication from their vehicles.

Law enforcement officers temporarily restricted access to the intersection around 11:15 a.m. to secure the area and begin an initial investigation. The roadway was expected to fully reopen by early afternoon.

The intersection, located near Moreno Valley Mall and Campus Springs Shopping Center, experiences heavy daily traffic flow, which authorities noted while assessing the crash.

Let’s Drive Safer Together

Every time you drive, you’re part of something bigger—a shared space where everyone depends on each other to stay safe. That’s why being a responsible driver matters. Staying alert, following traffic rules, and showing courtesy on the road can go a long way in preventing accidents and protecting lives.

Safe driving isn’t just about you. It’s about your passengers, the people in other vehicles, and even pedestrians you may never meet. When we all make the effort to slow down, stay focused, and avoid distractions, we create safer roads for everyone.

One simple habit can make a huge difference: wearing your seatbelt. It only takes a second, but it can save your life. Whether you’re in the driver’s seat or riding along, make it a non-negotiable part of every trip.

Be especially careful around vehicles stopped on the side of the road, particularly on highways or in low-visibility conditions. Reduce your speed, stay aware of your surroundings, and move over when you can. These precautions help prevent further accidents and keep everyone safer.

Drivers are urged to stay alert and reduce speed in busy commercial intersections, especially during peak traffic hours, to help prevent serious collisions and protect all road users.

Life After a Traffic Collision

The effects of a traffic accident often go far beyond the moment it happens. Even after vehicles are removed from the road, the consequences can linger. Injuries may range from minor cuts and bruises to severe, life-altering trauma. In addition to physical pain, many victims face emotional stress, mental strain, and financial challenges that can make recovery even more difficult.
