Highway 154 Reopens After Sideswipe Crash Involving Semi Truck
Santa Barbara County, CA (July 13, 2026) — A traffic collision on Highway 154 involving a gray Toyota sedan and a semi truck briefly shut down both lanes above San Antonio Creek Road on Friday afternoon.
Santa Barbara County fire crews and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 12:30 p.m. Authorities later determined the crash was a sideswipe collision between the passenger vehicle and the semi truck.
Officials reported only minor injuries from the crash. Caltrans reopened the highway at approximately 2:05 p.m. after crews cleared the scene.
During the closure, drivers were advised to use alternate routes and expect delays. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
