Hazelwood, MO (September 10, 2026) — A 45-year-old St. Louis man died after a frightening collision on Highway 67 in Hazelwood late Sunday night.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 67 at Elm Grove Avenue. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old St. Louis girl driving a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze turned left onto Highway 67 after running a red light. Her car entered the path of a southbound 2009 Yamaha FZ6R motorcycle and struck it head-on.

The impact caused the motorcycle to slide and ejected the rider. Emergency crews took the motorcyclist to a hospital, where authorities later pronounced him dead. No other injuries were reported.
