Sacramento, CA (May 30, 2025) — On Thursday evening, a bicyclist lost their life after a traffic collision on Industrial Boulevard in West Sacramento.

Emergency crews responded around 8:07 p.m. to the intersection of Industrial Boulevard and Harbor Boulevard in the Port of Sacramento Industrial Park. Despite emergency efforts, the bicyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Investigators have not yet determined what led to the collision. Police said the driver remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.

The crash prompted the closure of eastbound Industrial Boulevard between Harbor Boulevard and Boatman Avenue for several hours while officers processed the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
