3-Vehicle Collision on Lilac Road Kills 1, Injures 2 [St. Louis, MO]

St. Louis, MO (July 18, 2026) — On Thursday night, a three-vehicle collision on Lilac Road in St. Louis left one man dead and two others injured.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:02 p.m. on northbound Lilac Road, north of Chambers Road. Investigators said a 32-year-old driver attempted to pass another vehicle but crossed the center line.

The driver’s vehicle first collided with an oncoming vehicle, then slid into a third vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the 32-year-old driver to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The 70-year-old driver of the second vehicle suffered serious injuries, while a 14-year-old passenger in the third vehicle sustained minor injuries.
