Sacramento, CA (November 22, 2025) — A multi-vehicle collision on Mather Boulevard in Sacramento sent six people to the hospital Thursday evening.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. in the area of Mather Boulevard and Arnold Way.

Reports say that crews initially found five injured individuals. That number was later updated to six — four adults and two children.

All six victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The California Highway Patrol is still determining what caused the crash. By about 6 p.m., officers had cleared the scene and reopened the roadway.
