Traffic Collision on Missouri Route 7 Kills 1, Injures 3 [Camden County, MO]

Camden County, MO (June 12, 2025) — On Thursday afternoon, a 45-year-old woman from Edgewater, Colorado, lost her life in a head-on collision on Missouri Route 7 near Climax Springs.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Missouri Route 7 near Gypsum Drive, east of Climax Springs and west of the Lake of the Ozarks.

Investigators reported that the woman was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado when the pickup crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2012 Ford F-450.

The woman died at the scene. Three men traveling in the Ford sustained moderate to serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities also noted that none of the occupants involved in the crash were wearing seat belts. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
