2-Vehicle Collision on Patterson Road Prompted EMS Response [Grand Junction, CO]

Minor Injury Reported After Two-Vehicle Crash at Busy Grand Junction Intersection

Grand Junction, CO (February 14, 2026) — A two-vehicle collision on Patterson Road caused a minor injury and traffic delays Thursday at a busy intersection in Grand Junction.

The Grand Junction Police Department responded around 11:25 a.m. to a crash at Patterson Road and 24 ½ Road near Mesa Mall. Investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the collision.

One SUV sustained heavy front-end damage and required towing, while the second vehicle was also removed from the roadway. Firefighters from the Grand Junction Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Officials temporarily closed a westbound lane as crews directed traffic and cleared debris from the intersection. City representatives later confirmed that one person suffered a minor injury.
