Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash South of Visalia; Child Survives Unharmed

Visalia, CA (November 20, 2025) — A late-night collision on Road 100 south of Visalia left one woman dead and sent two others to the hospital on Monday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 11:25 p.m. at Road 100 and Avenue 264.

Reports say that a southbound BMW 328 reportedly drifted left for unknown reasons and struck the front left side of a northbound Jeep Compass entering the intersection.

The impact forced the Jeep into the dirt shoulder, while the BMW stopped in the southbound lane. The Jeep’s driver became trapped inside the SUV as her child remained secured in a rear car seat.

Emergency crews freed the woman and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she later died. Her child was also taken to the hospital as a precaution and was not hurt.

CHP says the BMW’s driver got out before the vehicle caught fire. She suffered major leg injuries and was transported for treatment.

Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
