Colville, WA (January 8, 2025) — A head-on collision on State Route 20 near Colville sent two people to the hospital Monday evening and temporarily blocked the highway.
According to authorities, the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. when a westbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another car.
Authorities reported that the 80-year-old male driver involved in the crash required air transport to a local hospital. The other driver, a 52-year-old woman from Colville, also suffered injuries and received hospital treatment. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
