Three People Injured in Crash on Route PP in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, MO (December 10, 2025) — A 39-year-old Columbia man suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route PP and Starling Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported that the man was traveling southbound in a Nissan Frontier when a Toyota Scion, driven by a 42-year-old man, turned directly into his path. 

The resulting impact left both vehicles totaled.

The driver of the Toyota Scion sustained minor injuries, while his female passenger suffered moderate injuries. 

Emergency responders transported her to University Hospital for treatment. Both individuals in the Toyota were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Nissan Frontier, who was not wearing a seat belt, was also transported to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
