Startling Houston Auto Accident on Highway 242 and Achievement Drive

HOUSTON, TX (November 13, 2025) – Tuesday, a Conroe ISD school bus crash on Highway 242 and Achievement Drive led to no serious injuries.

The incident involving a Conroe ISD school bus and a pickup truck happened on Highway 242 and Achievement Drive, in front of College Park High School.

Officials said a loaded school bus collided with a pickup truck, prompting multiple fire engines and medics to respond.

A total of 21 people were evaluated at the scene, but no one required transport to the hospital.

Conroe ISD confirmed the crash occurred near College Park High School when the bus was struck by a truck. The district said no students or the truck driver were seriously hurt, and all students have since been released to their families. Conroe ISD thanked local law enforcement and first responders for their quick response and care.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
