Corrisa Trowbridge Dead in Hit-and-Run Crash on Corsicana Avenue [Abilene, TX]

Abilene, TX (March 13, 2026) – Corrisa Trowbridge, 31, was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Corsicana Avenue early Thursday morning.

The deadly traffic crash happened past 4 a.m. on Blue Quail Drive.

Troopers said Trowbridge was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by Christopher Covington-Smith. 

Police said the vehicle fled the scene after the impact.

The authorities are asking anyone who may have details on the suspect’s location to contact them at 325-673-8331. 

Once caught, Covington-Smith will be charged with murder.
