Craig Bercsa Dies in Horrific 3-Vehicle Crash on Banana Avenue [Fontana, CA]

Fontana, CA (December 28, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, 69-year-old Craig Bercsa of Rancho Cucamonga died and 2 other people were seriously hurt after a 3-vehicle crash on Banana Avenue.

According to the Fontana Police Department, the Banana Avenue fatal crash happened around 5:46 p.m. at the intersection with Slover Avenue.

Reports say that an eastbound RAM truck crashed into a northbound Toyota Sienna turning left onto westbound Slover Avenue. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to hit a Toyota Tundra that was waiting to turn south onto Banana Avenue.

Authorities say that 2 occupants of the Sienna suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital. However, Bercsa, who was also a passenger on the Sienna, was declared dead at the scene.

Officials are investigating the fatal 3-car collision and have not released further details about the incident.
