One Person Hospitalized After  Crash at Wren Avenue and McCombs Street in El Paso

El Paso, TX (February 25, 2026) – El Paso Police are investigating a serious crash at Wren Avenue and McCombs Streetthat left one person badly injured on Wednesday evening.

Authorities received reports of the collision shortly before 7:45 p.m. on February 25 near the intersection of Wren Avenue and McCombs Street. 

Emergency responders from the El Paso Fire Department arrived at the scene and assessed those involved.

Fire officials confirmed that one individual sustained serious injuries and was transported Code 3 to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment. 

Officials have not yet released details regarding how the crash occurred or how many vehicles were involved.

The El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigations Unit responded to the scene and has taken over the investigation. 

At this time, authorities have not announced whether speed, impairment, or other factors contributed to the collision.
