Vehicle Crash Near North Henderson Avenue Claims a Life

Woman Killed, Juvenile Seriously Hurt in North Central Expressway Crash in Dallas

Dallas, TX (May 12, 2025) — Early Sunday morning, a woman lost her life and a juvenile suffered serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash near North Henderson Avenue.

Dallas police said the collision happened around 3:56 a.m. on the North Central Expressway in Dallas. Investigators determined that a silver pickup truck traveling northbound suddenly crossed two lanes before crashing into a concrete barrier and support pillar.

After the initial impact, the truck moved back into traffic and slammed into a red pickup truck, forcing it into the barrier. The silver pickup then struck the barrier again before stopping.

Authorities said the silver truck carried a driver and four passengers. Emergency crews transported all four passengers to a nearby hospital, where an adult woman later died from her injuries. A juvenile passenger remains hospitalized in serious condition.

The red pickup contained two occupants. Officials transported the passenger to a hospital for evaluation.

Police arrested the driver of the silver pickup at the scene before taking them to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the driver’s identity or the possible charges pending booking into the Dallas County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
