Police Investigate Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway at Mountain View Avenue in Loma Linda

LOMA LINDA, CA (December 24, 2025) — One man was hospitalized early Saturday morning following a two-vehicle rollover crash on 10 Freeway near Mountain View Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:47 a.m. on December 13, 2025. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the crash. 

The pickup truck came to rest on its side, blocking the fast lane of the freeway with the driver still trapped inside.

CHP units, Loma Linda Fire Department, and AMR ambulance crews responded swiftly. 

Multiple vehicles reportedly came dangerously close to colliding with the overturned truck before CHP officers shut down the lanes for safety.

Before first responders arrived, the driver and passenger of the other involved vehicle — a sedan — fled the scene on foot, leaving behind unanswered questions and potential legal implications.

CHP officers were forced to break the rear window of the pickup truck to reach and extricate the injured driver. 

He was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as unknown.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation by CHP San Bernardino.
