Red-Light Collision Damages Two Vehicles at Eureka Intersection

Eureka, CA (June 19, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash on 14th Street disrupted traffic and resulted in minor injuries on the night of June 16.

The collision happened at the intersection of 14th and H streets in Eureka around 10:15 p.m. when a small white vehicle reportedly entered the intersection against a red light and struck a Mazda SUV from the side.

The impact activated the airbags in the vehicles, but authorities reported no serious injuries. Crews cleared the damaged vehicles from the roadway by approximately 10:40 p.m., restoring normal traffic flow.

Officials have not released additional details regarding the drivers involved.
