1 Person Dead in Atascocita Auto Accident on 19250 W Lake Houston Parkway

ATASCOCITA, TX (July 1, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a tragic single-vehicle crash on 19250 W Lake Houston Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:10 p.m. at the Nothing Bundt Cakes store at 19250 W Lake Houston Parkway.

According to reports, an elderly male driver accidentally pressed the gas pedal of his vehicle and crashed into the building.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a female employee of the store died in the crash. Then, officers confirmed that multiple individuals sustained injuries in the crash, including a 52-year-old female customer who was hit by debris and by the truck.

Furthermore, officers detained the driver of the vehicle at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
