Shocking 2-Car Crash on Apple Road Injures Joplin Woman [Fidelity, MO]

Fidelity, MO (July 26, 2026) — A 19-year-old woman from Joplin suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Apple Road in Fidelity, Missouri, on the morning of July 23, 2026.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Apple Road and Missouri Route 59. Authorities said a 2010 Mazda slowed to make a left turn when a northbound 2001 Dodge pickup struck the driver’s side of the vehicle.

The Mazda driver was taken to Mercy Carthage for treatment of minor injuries. The 18-year-old Diamond man driving the pickup was not hurt in the crash.

Emergency crews from the Carthage Fire Department, Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Mercy Ambulance, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene. M&M Wrecker removed the damaged vehicles and cleared debris from the roadway before traffic resumed.
