Tragic Crash on Auberry Road Kills 1, Injures 3 Others [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (July 25, 2026) — A woman over the age of 100 lost her life, and three others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Auberry Road in Fresno County on Thursday afternoon.

The collision happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Auberry Road and Millerton Road, about three miles from Millerton Lake, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Investigators said an 18-year-old driving a Toyota westbound on Millerton Road attempted to turn left onto southbound Auberry Road. During the turn, the Toyota entered the path of a northbound Nissan that had the right of way, resulting in a collision.

The crash killed a local woman who was riding in the back seat of the Nissan. Authorities said she was more than 100 years old. The 18-year-old Toyota driver suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, while two other people involved were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Officials have not yet released the identities of those involved as the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
