Police Officer and Several Others Injured in South Los Angeles Crash

Los Angeles, CA (September 14, 2026) — A police officer and several other people suffered injuries in a crash on Avalon Boulevard in South Los Angeles on Friday morning.

The collision occurred shortly before 11 a.m. near Avalon Boulevard and 51st Street. Two civilian vehicles and a police patrol vehicle sustained damage. Authorities reported that as many as five people were hurt, although investigators had not yet determined what caused the crash.
