Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Lake Elsinore

Lake Elsinore, CA (August 19, 2026) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries Monday after a three-vehicle crash on Blackwell Boulevard in Lake Elsinore.

The California Highway Patrol said a work van, Mercedes sedan, and BMW sedan collided around 11:43 a.m. at the intersection of Blackwell Boulevard and Grand Avenue. Emergency crews transported two victims to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.

One motorist became aggressive toward paramedics at the scene, reportedly pushing away firefighters and making threats. CHP officers and Riverside County sheriff’s deputies responded, but the individual calmed down before they arrived and did not require restraint. No arrest was reported.

All three vehicles sustained major damage and were towed from the scene. CHP continued investigating the cause of the collision.
