According to the Missouri City Police Department, officers responded at approximately 7:37 p.m. to the area near 700 Buffalo Run and Fondren Road after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle.

Police located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. However, officers said the driver refused to stop and fled, prompting a pursuit.

During the chase, the suspect allegedly collided with another vehicle.

Emergency personnel transported both the suspect and an occupant of the other vehicle to a hospital for treatment of injuries. Authorities did not immediately disclose the severity of their injuries or provide additional information about their identities.
