Frightening Hit-and-Run Crash on Figueroa Street Kills Pedestrian [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (February 5, 2026) — On Tuesday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Figueroa Street killed a man in his 30s, prompting police to search for witnesses.

According to authorities, the collision occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Figueroa Street and Imperial Highway in the Green Meadows neighborhood.

Authorities said the pedestrian was outside a marked crosswalk when the vehicle hit him. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
