Bakersfield, CA (July 15, 2026) — Three people were injured early Monday morning after a crash on Flower Street when a BMW allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 3 a.m. at the intersection with Gage Street. Investigators said a black BMW was traveling south on Gage Street when it failed to stop at the intersection and struck a Chevrolet pickup.

The pickup driver suffered minor injuries. The BMW carried three occupants, two of whom were transported to Kern Medical with minor to moderate injuries. Authorities said the third occupant fled the scene before officers arrived.
