Multi-Car Crash on FM 1385 Results in Hospitalization [Aubrey, TX]

Aubrey, TX (August 22, 2026) — A driver was sent to the hospital after a wrong-way driver caused a multi-vehicle crash on FM 1385, sending one car through a guardrail and into a pond.

Aubrey police said the driver traveled north on Farm to Market 1385 before crossing into the southbound lanes near Farm to Market 428. The vehicle struck one car, hit a guardrail, and then collided head-on with a second vehicle. The impact pushed the second vehicle through the guardrail and into the pond, where it landed upside down and became submerged.

Police rescued the second driver and performed life-saving measures before taking the injured person to a hospital for treatment.

Hazmat crews responded after the crash leaked oil and gas into the pond. Authorities continue to investigate what caused the wrong-way collision.
