Pedestrian Killed in Collision on Fort Worth Avenue in Dallas
Dallas, TX (April 2, 2026) — A pedestrian lost their life after a pedestrian crash on Fort Worth Avenue near Hartsdale Drive in Dallas.
The fatal crash occurred shortly after 9:45 p.m. in the North Oak Cliff area. The victim was attempting to cross the roadway when a black Honda Civic hit them. Despite the response from emergency crews, the pedestrian died from their injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities as police and paramedics arrived. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances leading up to the collision.
This incident is one of several deadly crashes involving pedestrians reported across North Texas in recent days.
