Police Investigate Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 18 at All View Road in Running Springs

RUNNING SPRINGS, CA (June 17, 2026) — A woman suffered severe injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 18 at All View Road on June 15, 2026.

First responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious collision.

According to information from the scene, the woman was attempting to enter Highway 18 when another vehicle struck her car broadside. The other vehicle was believed to have been traveling at a high rate of speed.

The impact caused the woman’s vehicle to overturn onto its roof. The crash left her severely trapped inside the heavily damaged vehicle.

Firefighters arrived and found the vehicle extensively crushed. The driver had sustained significant traumatic injuries and could not be removed immediately due to the severity of the wreckage.

Rescue crews spent about one hour performing an extensive extrication. Firefighters had to cut apart both sides of the vehicle to safely reach and remove the injured woman.

After crews freed her, emergency personnel transported her to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of multiple severe injuries.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
