Police Investigate 18-Wheeler Crash on Highway 6 in Navasota

NAVASOTA, TX (November 28, 2025) — A crash on Highway 6 involving a commercial vehicle hauling lawn service equipment and an 18-wheeler injures passengers.

City officials report that the crash occurred as the driver of the northbound commercial vehicle suddenly braked. 

An 18-wheeler traveling behind it was unable to stop in time, slamming into the trailer and causing both the truck and the attached lawn service trailer to flip over on the highway.

Emergency crews responded quickly and temporarily closed lanes of Highway 6 to clear debris and attend to the injured. 

Passengers in the flipped commercial vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

By midday, Highway 6 was fully reopened, but the scene caused significant delays and concern for morning commuters. 

The collision remains under investigation.
