Randolph County, MO (February 12, 2026) – A 75-year-old woman died Wednesday after a crash on Highway 63 in Randolph County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers reported that the woman, a Jacksonville resident, drove a 2002 Buick LeSabre on Highway 63 and Route K in Cairo shortly before 7:30 p.m.

The crash report states she entered the path of a 2022 GMC Yukon, leading to a collision.

Responders transported the Buick’s driver by ambulance to University Hospital, where doctors later pronounced her dead.

A 15-year-old girl riding in the Buick suffered serious injuries. Medical crews flew the teen by helicopter to University Hospital for treatment.

The Yukon’s driver, a 56-year-old woman from Green Castle, sustained minor injuries and went by ambulance to University Hospital.

A passenger in the Yukon, a 59-year-old man also from Green Castle, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance as well.
