Suspected DWI Head-On Collision in Horizon City Leaves One Person Critically Injured

El Paso County, TX (June 3, 2025) — A head-on crash on Horizon Boulevard on Sunday night left one person critically injured and resulted in the arrest of another driver on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Horizon Police responded to the crash around 10 p.m. in the 15000 block of Horizon Boulevard. Emergency crews transported one victim to a hospital with severe injuries.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol played a role in the collision. Police took the other driver involved into custody on suspicion of DWI.
