Injuries Reported in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 West Southbound Access Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 23, 2026) – Sunday morning, a man was hospitalized after an alarming hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10 West southbound access road.

The crash occurred just after 2:00 a.m. in the 13500 block of Interstate 10 West southbound access road.

Police said the 26-year-old man had pulled over onto the shoulder because of a flat tire. He was trying to make his way to a nearby gas station when he was struck by a vehicle.

According to SAPD, the driver got out of the vehicle but fled before officers arrived.

The man was transported to a hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
