Police Investigate Crash on Interstate 15 Near Highway 395 in Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA (May 22, 2026)— One person suffered minor injuries late Thursday night after a six-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash happened around 11:27 p.m. on May 21, 2026, in the fast lane of northbound I-15 near the Highway 395 exit.

CHP logs listed the vehicles involved as a gray Dodge Challenger, a Volkswagen Jetta, a Kia K5, a Dodge Charger, and two additional vehicles.

Authorities temporarily stopped all lanes while emergency crews responded to the scene. Officials later closed the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes for the investigation and cleanup while reopening the No. 3 and No. 4 lanes to traffic.

CHP requested a SigAlert for about one hour as crews cleared the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

One person sustained minor injuries in the collision. Multiple tow companies responded to remove the vehicles from the roadway.

The California Highway Patrol’s Victorville Station continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
