Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 5 Injures 4 People [Lewis County, WA]

Lewis County, WA (January 21, 2026) — 4 people were hurt after a rollover crash on Interstate 5 on Friday morning.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 9:40 a.m. when the unidentified driver changed lanes and struck another vehicle traveling south.

Washington State Patrol is searching for a driver who fled after causing a rollover crash Friday morning on southbound Interstate 5 near Napavine in Lewis County.

After the impact, the second vehicle lost control, hit a freeway barrier, and rolled before coming to rest on the left shoulder. The driver who initiated the crash continued southbound without stopping.

The rollover left four people injured, including a man and woman from Longview, a 31-year-old woman from Centralia, and a juvenile. Emergency crews transported all four to Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment.

Troopers continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information about the fleeing driver or vehicle to contact Washington State Patrol.
