Disastrous Crash on North Beach Street Injures Passenger

Passenger Critically Injured in Northeast Fort Worth Crash; One Driver Arrested

Fort Worth, TX (June 15, 2025) — Early Sunday morning, a passenger suffered critical injuries after a shocking crash on North Beach Street, where a pickup truck allegedly ran a red light and collided with a sedan.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection with Northeast 28th Street. Investigators said a Toyota Camry was traveling north through the intersection with a green light when a westbound GMC Sierra entered against a red light and struck the passenger side of the car.

Emergency crews transported the Camry’s passenger to John Peter Smith Hospital, where the victim was listed in critical but stable condition. Authorities have not yet released the passenger’s identity.

Police arrested the Camry’s driver on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Meanwhile, investigators said the GMC driver left the scene after getting into another vehicle and remains under investigation.

Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
