Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Two Vehicles on North Central Expressway in Richardson

Richardson, TX (May 29, 2025) — On Monday evening, a pedestrian died after a tragic crash on North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas.

Police responded around 9:44 p.m. to multiple 911 calls reporting a person walking in the roadway near the 2400 block of the frontage road. While officers were en route, additional callers reported that a vehicle had hit the pedestrian.

Richardson Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Investigators later determined that the individual was walking in a traffic lane when one vehicle struck them, followed by a second impact from another vehicle.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Richardson Police Department’s Special Crash Investigation Team continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity pending family notification.
