Driver May Face Charges After  Crash on North Main Avenue in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (March 31, 2026) – A woman suffered injuries Monday afternoon after an SUV struck her in a crash on North Main Avenue near San Antonio College, according to police.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Main Avenue near a SAC parking lot.

A preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department states that a 26-year-old man driving an SUV hit a 22-year-old woman.

When officers arrived, they found the vehicle on top of the woman, police said. After responders removed the SUV, they transported her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not arrest the driver at the scene, but authorities said he is expected to face criminal charges.

Officials have not released his identity, and the investigation remains ongoing.
