Single-Vehicle Crash on North Sullivan Road Kills 1, Injures 1 [Spokane Valley, WA]

Spokane Valley, WA (September 12, 2026) — A woman died, and a man suffered injuries after a single-vehicle crash on North Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley on Saturday afternoon.

Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office responded around 2:50 p.m. near North Sullivan Road and East Broadway Avenue. They found an Acura engulfed in flames with a man in the passenger seat and a woman in the driver’s seat.

Firefighters extinguished the vehicle fire, but authorities pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The injured passenger was unable to speak because of his injuries.

The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the crash.
