Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Oak Park Boulevard Parking Lot in Pismo Beach

Pismo Beach, CA (April 17, 2026) – An 88-year-old Arroyo Grande man died after a vehicle struck him in a crash on Oak Park Boulevard parking lot on Thursday morning.

Police said officers responded at about 10:15 a.m. to a crash involving the man and a vehicle in the parking lot of Med Plus on Oak Park Boulevard.

When officers arrived, medical personnel from Med Plus were already assisting the injured man at the scene. 

Emergency responders then transported him to a local hospital, but he died on the way there.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department was notified, and officials turned the death investigation over to Coroner Investigators.
