2 Pedestrians Hospitalized After Crash on Park Street in Alameda

Alameda, CA (September 5, 2024) – On Thursday morning, two pedestrians sustained injuries in a crash on Park Street.

Reportedly, two pedestrians sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a car struck them and crashed into a business in Alameda.

Shortly before 9:56 a.m., the car was turning northbound onto Park Street from Santa Clara Avenue when it hit the pedestrians. 

The vehicle then veered left, crashing into the front window of Gong Cha bubble tea at 1501 Park Street.

A photo shared by the Alameda Fire Department shows a black sedan partially inside the shop. 

The pedestrians were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, while the driver remained unharmed. 

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
