Bicyclist Injured in Crash With Truck in Grand Junction

Grand Junction, CO (August 29, 2026) — Grand Junction police are investigating a crash on Riverside Parkway involving a bicyclist and a truck on Thursday morning.

Officers responded around 10:15 a.m. to the intersection of Riverside Parkway and S 9th Street. Investigators said the bicyclist was traveling south on S 9th Street when they struck the side of a truck heading east on Riverside Parkway.

Grand Junction firefighters took the bicyclist to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No further details have been released.
