The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred just after 12:30 a.m. about seven miles northeast of Edina.

Reports say that a 21-year-old man from Edina was driving east when his truck veered off the road, hit a ditch, and overturned after he overcorrected.

The driver and two passengers—an 18-year-old from Knox City and a 17-year-old from Edina—sustained minor injuries. All three were taken by private vehicles to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities noted that none of the occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
