2 People Hurt in Fort Worth Auto Accident on South Freeway near Morningside Drive

FORT WORTH, TX (November 11, 2025) – Monday morning, a disastrous wrong-way crash on South Freeway near Morningside Drive injured two people.

The incident happened at around 2:15 a.m. on South Freeway near Morningside Drive.

According to reports, the crash involved a city-owned vehicle and two semi-trucks. Then, the force of the crash pushed the northbound vehicle that was travelling in the southbound lanes, to be pinned underneath one of the semi-trucks.

Moreover, responders rushed the wrong-way driver to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Also, paramedics transported one of the semi drivers to a hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the southbound express lanes of the freeway south of Meacham Boulevard.

Meanwhile, officers believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
