The Lorena Police Department also closed Old Lorena Road in the 6000 block while emergency crews responded to the scene. 

Officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office assisted Lorena police.

Authorities later cleared the scene and reopened the roadway to normal traffic.
