Irving, TX (August 24, 2026) — A motorcyclist died early Saturday after a wrong-way crash on State Highway 114 in Irving.

The collision happened around 2:40 a.m. near MacArthur Boulevard. Irving police said the driver was heading west in the eastbound lanes when the vehicle struck the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities had not released the victim’s identity.

Police arrested the wrong-way driver on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter. Officers also arrested a passenger in the vehicle for public intoxication.
