Two-Vehicle Crash Slows Traffic on State Route 240 Near Edison Street in Kennewick
Kennewick, WA (July 5, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash on State Route 240 caused traffic delays near Edison Street in Kennewick on Friday morning, July 3.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 10:07 a.m. after receiving reports of a collision. When firefighters and police arrived, they found a passenger car and a pickup truck that had crashed and come to rest off the roadway near the Edison Street entrance to the westbound highway.
The collision prompted officials to close one westbound lane while first responders worked at the scene. An ambulance also responded, although authorities had not reported any injuries as of the latest update.
