Person Injured After SUV Crashes Into Drainage Tunnel on 60 Freeway

Jurupa Valley, CA (April 14, 2026) — early Sunday, a person was injured after a horrific crash on State Route 60 in Jurupa Valley.

The crash happened around 5:25 a.m. west of Country Village Road. Reports say that a white Jeep Grand Wagoneer overturned and came to rest in a drainage tunnel, trapping an occupant.

Emergency crews rescued the occupant and transported them to a hospital. Officials have not released the victim’s condition.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
